Location: Oak Room, South Dining Hall

The Department of Marketing will host a Symposium on Marketing and the Common Good, on April 18-19, beginning at 8:30 a.m., in the Oak Room of the South Dining Hall on the Notre Dame campus.

The Symposium, which ends April 19 at noon, will explore the tendency of marketing to ramify far beyond simple economic exchange, into the realms of ethics and moral economy, into issues of public policy, and into practices of accommodation and resistance to consumer culture.

All members of the University are invited to attend, and the event is open to the public.
